Welcome to the website of Alexandre Guertin!

	Alexandre is a business development consultant. He comes from an entrepreneurial family that founded the first and only chain of health-food supermarkets in the province of Québec in Canada (Avril: www.avril.ca). He obtained a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in finance from McGill University in Montréal, Québec where he had the opportunity to obtain extensive international experience on a one-year student exchange to Mexico. Alexandre has experience managing 40+ employees in a retail setting, providing risk management for a pension fund with assets exceeding $200 billion CAD, being an account executive for a sub-prime mortage lender, and working in sales and marketing for a Fortune 500 company.
This led him to go on various trade mission to Latin America after which, he decided to found Aliam Global Ventures to leverage all the incredible opportunities he sees when abroad and at home. He speaks many languages (fluency in French, English and Spanish) and on a quest to add one new language every couple of years. Through Aliam Global Ventures, Alexandre has had the chance to do work for a promising renewable energy company, produced his own TV show about food and wine in Argentina, do consulting work for a NGO while attending the G8 and G20 summits, go a trade missions to Latin America and Europe, launch a premium sport supplement, open a virtual art gallery and much more.
